VINIFICATION: After the grapes are de-stemmed, crushed and pressed, they go through a brief maceration on the skins for about 24-36 hours. The wine is decanted in steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation takes place at the controlled temperature of 15° C, then rests on the fine lees for about 5-6 months.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: Pinot Grigio Villa Caratti has a straw yellow colour with classical copper hints. With an attractive fruity and floral bouquet, it got scents of violet and acacia. In the mouth is ample, pleasant and well balanced, with a sweet aftertaste.
FOOD PAIRING: The great success of this wine is due to its “easy” forwardness and versatility. It matches perfectly with tomato-based dishes and fish soups. Great as aperitif, with young cheese and cold cuts, as cooked ham and mortadella.
